AHC Hardwood Group Introduces Southern Yellow Pine Stair Treads and Stair Parts

AHC Hardwood Group has expanded its manufacturing capabilities to include Southern Yellow Pine stair treads, risers and coordinating mouldings, offering distributors, secondary manufacturers and builders a cost-effective and on-trend option alongside more traditional hardwood stair components.

Engineered with precision and built for performance, the new treads feature an innovative relief design to minimize cupping and are kiln-dried to a 10 percent moisture content for enhanced dimensional stability. The result is a durable, interior-grade product suitable for residential or light commercial use.

Southern Yellow Pine stair parts are milled at the AHC Hardwood Group facilities in Clarksville, Tennessee and Cleveland, Georgia. The new product line complements AHC’s established offerings in Red Oak, White Oak and other hardwood species, providing greater flexibility for stair and flooring applications. Additional hardwood species and flooring mouldings are available as custom orders by request.
