Import and Export Capabilities

AHC Hardwood Group ships Appalachian hardwood lumber throughout the world and also imports the finest African and South American hardwoods available. Our fully integrated process allows us to control quality from rough green lumber through sales.

Kiln Drying Yards

AHC operates advanced kiln drying facilities in Clarksville, Tennessee and Cleveland, Georgia. With more than two million board- feet of kiln capacity, our comprehensive kiln drying capabilities ensure that customers receive premium, stable and durable hardwood products tailored to their specific needs.

Lunawood and Atlanta Hardwood Corporation have joined forces as Lunawood LLC. Under this joint venture, Lunawood LLC is building a new production facility at the AHC Hardwood Group plant in Cleveland, Georgia.

About Us

After more than 70 years in the lumber business, we are recognized as one of the preeminent lumber companies in the Southeast. We were originally founded as Howard Lumber in 1952. In the 1960s, Atlanta Hardwood became the sales arm for Howard Lumber. Today, our kiln drying yards and production facilities operate as AHC Hardwood Group. We process and distribute more than 30 million board-feet of hardwood lumber worldwide each year.
